See your website the way your visitors do
Visitors decide in seconds whether to stay. Find out if your site loads fast on their phone, feels safe, and shows up when they search. Free, takes up to 90 seconds, no email required.
Connecting to your site…
Google's speed test runs a real page load, so this can take up to 90 seconds, depending on how fast your site responds.

Want us to fix these?
Send this report with a quote request. We’ll review it and reply within 2 business days with what it would take to fix, or whether a redesign makes more sense.
Scores from Google PageSpeed Insights can vary a few points between runs. This is an automated check of your homepage, not a full audit.
Four questions every visitor answers without telling you
“Is this taking forever?”
Many visitors arrive on a phone, often on a weak signal. A slow page loses them before they read a word. We run Google’s own speed test.
“Can I read and tap this?”
Text that fits the screen, buttons big enough to tap, and nothing jumping around while the page loads.
“Is this site safe?”
Browsers warn people about sites that aren’t secure. One “Not secure” label is enough to send a visitor elsewhere.
“Where did I find them?”
If Google can’t read your site properly, people searching for what you offer may never see it. We check the basics Google looks for.
Small problems you can’t see cost you visitors
Most website owners only see their site on their own computer, on a fast connection, already knowing where everything is. Your visitors don’t. These numbers show why a quick check is worth a minute.
1 in 2
visits happen on a phone
About half of U.S. web traffic now comes from phones. If your site is hard to use on a small screen, half your visitors feel it first.
3×
more leads from a fast site
Portent studied more than 100 million page views. Business sites that loaded in 1 second turned visitors into leads 3 times as often as sites that took 5 seconds.
96%
of top home pages have accessibility errors
WebAIM’s 2026 scan of the top million home pages found detectable accessibility failures on 95.9% of them, averaging 56 errors each. The most common: text that’s hard to read and images with no description.
“Not secure”
is what browsers show without HTTPS
Chrome and other browsers label pages without a secure connection right in the address bar. It’s the first thing a cautious visitor sees.
45%
now use AI to find local businesses
BrightLocal’s 2026 survey found 45% of U.S. consumers had used AI tools like ChatGPT to find a local business, and most of them then check the business’s own site. Search engines and AI both depend on the basics this check looks at.
Free
to find out where you stand
You don’t need to know any of this to use the check. Type your address, and it tells you in plain English what’s working and what’s worth fixing.

What happens during the check
We visit your site like a new visitor
We load your homepage from the outside, just as a stranger would, and confirm it uses a secure connection, sends people to the secure version, and keeps them there.
Google times a real page load
We run Google PageSpeed Insights, Google’s own testing tool, on a simulated phone and on a computer. It measures how long the main content takes to appear and whether the page jumps around while loading.
We read your page the way Google does
We look at the parts visitors never see but search engines rely on: your page title, search description, image descriptions, sitemap, structured data, and social media preview.
You get a plain-English report card
Each item is marked as passing, needing work, or worth fixing, with a short explanation. The results roll up into a score out of 100 across speed, phones and accessibility, security, and search basics.
The check is automated and looks at your homepage only. It catches the common problems quickly, but it isn’t a full audit. If you’d like a person to look deeper, send your report with a quote request and we’ll review it personally.
What we check
What does the website check look at?
Four areas: speed (Google PageSpeed scores for phones and computers, load time, and page size), phones and accessibility (screen setup, Google's accessibility score, and whether content jumps while loading), security (HTTPS and secure redirects), and search basics (title, description, headings, image descriptions, sitemap, structured data, and social previews).
Is it really free?
Yes. You see your full results right away without giving us an email. If you'd like help fixing what it finds, you can send the report with a quote request.
Do you keep the address I check?
We log the website address checked, the results summary, and a scrambled, daily-changing code used only to limit how many checks one visitor can run. We don't store your IP address. See our Privacy notice.
Why does my score change when I run it again?
Google runs a real page load each time, and network conditions vary. A few points of difference is normal. Large swings usually mean the site's server is slow or inconsistent.
