Privacy & Storage Notice

StandWatch Digital operates standwatchdigital.com. This notice explains what information the Site processes and why.
Information processed
- Quote requests and messages: when you send your estimate or submit the Contact form, we receive your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), organization name, the type of project, current website, the features you select, your timeline, and your message. We store a copy of each request so it is not lost, and we email it to ourselves so we can reply.
- Cost estimator: the estimator runs in your browser. Your selections are not sent to us unless you choose to send your estimate, in which case it is stored and emailed with your request.
- Free website check: when you use the website check, we receive the website address you enter. We send that address to Google PageSpeed Insights to run Google’s speed tests, and we visit the address ourselves to check it. We store the address checked and a summary of the results. To limit how many checks one visitor can run, we store a scrambled code made from your IP address that changes daily; we do not store your IP address itself. If you send the report with a quote request, the report is stored and emailed with that request.
- Confirmation email: we may send you one automatic email confirming we received your request, with a copy of what you sent.
- Email you send us: if you email us directly, we receive your email address, name, and anything you include in the message.
- Spam protection: the quote form and website check use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device for that purpose.
- Service and security data: the Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes ordinary request, security, and operational data (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) needed to deliver and protect the Site.
- Fonts: the Site’s typefaces are hosted on our own site, so loading them does not send your information to a third-party font service.
How information is used
We use the information above to respond to your request, prepare a proposal or quote, provide our services, and keep the Site secure and working. We do not use it for advertising or behavioral profiling, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business (such as Cloudflare for hosting, form storage, and spam protection; Resend for email delivery; Zoho for our email inbox; and Google PageSpeed Insights for website check speed tests), when required by law, or with your permission.
Retention
We keep website check results for up to 12 months. We keep quote requests and project correspondence for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless a project or a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any legal obligation to keep it. Remnant copies of website project files may remain on our computers, drives, or other digital media for up to 5 years after your last service request.
Cookies and browser storage
The Site does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for one item — your light or dark display preference — so the Site looks the way you chose on your next visit. When you send an estimate or website check report to the quote form, it is held briefly in your browser’s session storage, which clears when you close the tab. Neither is sent to us unless you submit the form. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical storage that is strictly necessary for its security check. Because nothing non-essential is used, the Site does not display a cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this notice first.
